MS History Makers podcast

As researchers passionate about inclusivity in MS research, Rawda and Alison were delighted to feature on the MS Society’s podcast series MS History Makers. The episode was hosted by Roxy Murray, a podcaster, fashion enthusiast, and MS advocate.

Roxy’s role in the series brings fresh energy to discussions within the MS community, and during the episode, she facilitated a conversation that explored some of the key themes emerging from interviews conducted by peer researchers. Rawda highlighted the issue of medical gaslighting—when individuals’ symptoms and concerns are dismissed or ignored in healthcare settings—and discussed ideas for improving the experiences of those affected.

You can listen to our episode and others on the MS History Makers page, where you’ll find more conversations on innovative research and approaches within the MS community.
